What is this?

This is an interactive mapping of different types of neuromodulation or brain stimulation techniques.

This mapping is based on my book chapter.

What is neuromodulation?

Neuromodulation is the action of interacting with or altering activity in the nervous system through the delivery of a stimulus. These stimuli can range from electrical currents, magnetic pulses, light, ultrasound, heat, etc. The terms neuromodulation and brain stimulation are often used interchangeably, although in some cases differences exist.

Check out this deeper discussion on the difference.

How do I use this?
